Job Description: Health Information Manager
The Health Information Manager is responsible for overseeing the management and maintenance of health information systems within healthcare facilities. Key Responsibilities:

Skills and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
2. Certified Health Information Management (CHIM) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) credentials strongly preferred.
3. Proven experience in health information management, preferably in a healthcare setting.
4. In-depth knowledge of health information systems, electronic health record (EHR) platforms, and coding/classification systems (e.g., ICD-10, CPT).
5. Familiarity with healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA, HITECH, and Meaningful Use requirements.
6. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
